Overview
The DZW series electric actuators are a new generation of products that our company has developed independently, improving and perfecting the structure of our existing mature products. They feature a compact design, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. With a good protection level, they can meet various design requirements: explosion-proof, full-on/full-off, and full-adjustment types.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can also be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for Valves of General Type). The explosion-proof model's performance complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environment: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque while traveling. It is essential to check if the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the open direction torque is greater than the close direction torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no-load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position screwdriver clockwise towards the adjustment shaft, turning until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. This indicates that the initial OFF position travel has been properly adjusted.

At this point, turn the electric switch a few rotations and then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust according to the above procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, the operation can be repeated several times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear ratio and stroke.
