Aluminum cladding, also known as pipe jacketing aluminum, features an insulating rock wool layer between the jacketing and the pipe, which protects against heat radiation in the heating pipes. Therefore, aluminum cladding can serve as an insulating material.
For unused aluminum foil, it should be wrapped with plastic film for storage. If possible, place it near a desiccant to absorb moisture from the air, thus preventing oxidation. If there's a sudden transition from a low-temperature to a high-temperature area during storage, do not immediately open the packaging, as this can easily lead to oxidation. Wait until the aluminum foil is ready for use before unwrapping to avoid oxidation.
