Steel piles should be properly stacked to minimize deformation and corrosion. When stacking reinforcing bars, corrugated wood should be placed every 5 to 6 layers, ensuring the spacing does not cause significant bending deformation. The corrugated wood should be aligned vertically on the same plane. It is also necessary to consider using a certain width of passageway between material stacks during transportation.
The end of the steel material should be marked with specifications, steel grades, quantity, and the certificate number for data acceptance. The ends of the steel should be painted with different colors according to the type of steel, and the steel markings should be checked regularly.
Steel Inspection: Steel must undergo rigorous inspection before use and is only eligible for processing upon passing inspection. The main contents of the steel inspection include: ensuring the steel quantity and type match the order contract; the quality guarantee of the steel corresponds to the symbols printed on the steel; checking the oxidation scale on the steel; and inspecting the surface quality of the steel.
If there is a gutter, the rod cannot be planned to be close to the top of the column, otherwise the downspout may not fit. Additionally, in Chengdu's steel structure projects, the placement of the gutter downspout, rods, and inter-column supports must be considered; otherwise, there's a risk of either hitting the rods or the inter-column supports.
Don't solely consider factors like the "compression surface" of the joist support holes, and drill holes unevenly on the top and bottom. This makes it easy to install them upside down, resulting in poor performance.
