The stainless steel spray tower operates by having acidic gases enter the tower from the bottom inlet port tangentially. After passing through multiple spray layers for dehumidification, the clean gases are discharged through the outlet, meeting environmental protection standards.
Stainless steel spray towers are categorized as:
Demister layer: Typically separated by grille plates, with fillers placed on top, the filler layer can reach up to 500mm in height. To enhance demisting efficiency, our company's spray tower can be equipped with a plate-type demister.
Spray Layer: The spray layer consists of spray pipes and nozzles, with different densities of pipes and nozzles set according to the diameter of the spray tower. High-efficiency nozzles are used for even spray distribution and high flow rate, making them less prone to clogging.
Filling Layer: The filling layer is positioned above the demisting and spray layers, where the filling material is placed. The main fillings include multi-sided hollow spheres and Raschig rings. The filling layer within the spray tower serves as a mass transfer device for the gas-liquid two-phase contact. At the bottom of the filling tower, a support plate for the filling is installed, and the filling is placed in a random manner on the support plate. A filling pressure plate is mounted above the filling to prevent it from being blown away by ascending air currents. The spray liquid from the spray tower is sprayed onto the filling from the top through a liquid distributor, and then flows down along the surface of the filling.
