Gypsum-based fire-retardant coatings are primarily composed of gypsum, accounting for over one-third of the content. They utilize a powder mixture of inorganic lightweight insulating materials and fiber materials. Compared to cement-based fire-retardant coatings, gypsum-based coatings are environmentally friendly and made from low-carbon, energy-saving raw materials. They are lighter and have a lower density. Additionally, they offer strong adhesion, good deformation resistance, excellent fire resistance, and provide longer fire protection for fiber and hydrocarbon fires. The finished product is less prone to cracking and peeling, with stable performance and good resistance to acids and alkalis as well as corrosion. Breaking through the bottleneck of layered and separate construction methods for cement-based coatings, this product saves costs by achieving one-time spray application and forming.
