Our granular activated carbon is produced using Taixi anthracite coal as the raw material and coal tar as the binder, boasting low ash content and high strength. Compared to granular activated carbon produced with other blends, it has a slightly higher relative bulk density; and with an iodine adsorption value of 1000 mg/g, the corresponding CTC is >60%, typically around 62%. The low ash and high strength advantages significantly increase the lifespan of our "Yiqing" brand granular activated carbon in practical use, especially in solvent recovery applications.
