Malay Duckweed, also known as Bamboo Leaf DuckweedDuckweed, water cutting board, water skimming.Stuckenia, Stuckenia spp., perennial submerged herb. Roots and rhizomes are well-developed, white, with adventitious roots at the nodes. Stems are cylindrical. Tolerant to wind and turbidity, with strong adaptability. Commonly found in sandy and clayey substrates, as well as in still ponds and canals. Stuckenia malaccensis is a pollution-sensitive plant with high purification capabilities for various wastewater.
【Breeding Method】
Malayan spinach thrives in harder lakes, ponds, streams, ditches, and slow-moving freshwater environments, with a wide adaptability and distribution across various regions in China. It can be propagated through both rhizomes and seeds. It has a water purification effect. In landscaping projects, Malayan spinach is primarily planted through cuttings.
Malaysian water spinach has excellent nitrogen and phosphorus adsorption capabilities. In early spring, its decomposition significantly impacts the accumulation and release of carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus in water bodies and sediment. It can be planted in ponds, rivers, and wetlands, where it serves as an effective water quality purification and ecological restoration tool.
