Introduction to Magnetic Concrete Technology:
Magnetic coagulation sedimentation is a new type of water treatment device. Its principle involves introducing magnetic particles (i.e., magnetic powder) into the high-efficiency flocculation sedimentation pool purification process. Through the actions of flocculation, attraction adsorption, charge adsorption, bridging, and net trapping, it effectively combines algae, fine suspended matter, colloids, bacteria, and other insoluble pollutants in the water with the magnetic particles (with a specific gravity of 5.2), forming larger and denser magnetic flocs. This enhances the flocculation effect, allowing for the capture of smaller particle-sized pollutants. The flocs settle quickly, resulting in excellent water purification and clear, transparent effluent. The sludge from the sedimentation pool is pumped to a magnetic powder sludge separation system for recycling the magnetic powder. The separated sludge is then discharged into a sludge pond for dewatering treatment.
Advantages of Magnetic Concrete Technology:
High-efficiency deep purification with superior performance (higher treatment capacity than any existing purification process), outperforming high-efficiency inclined tube sedimentation tanks/aerofloatation/sand filters/fiber disks, effectively removing SS, algae, oils, bacteria, colloids, and their associated turbidity, COD, color, and odors (SS < 3mg/L, turbidity < 1.0 NTU). Using coagulants like Fe or Al can simultaneously deeply remove phosphorus (TP < 0.05mg/L). Combined with pre-oxidation, iron, manganese, and arsenic can be deeply removed. The addition of Ca(OH)2 and organic sulfur in pre-chemical precipitation can efficiently remove various heavy metal ions such as Cu, Cd, Hg, Pb, Cr, Zn, Mn, Ni. Pre-chemical precipitation with Ca(OH)2 can soften water quality (reduce hardness/alkalinity).
System dwell time short (<15-20 minutes), space-saving, takes up only 1/5 of the area of a slotted tube sedimentation tank or dissolved air flotation (DAF) tank, and 1/20 of a traditional sedimentation tank; low construction cost.
