Chemical cleaning descaling process:

Recirculating Closed Loop Cleaning

Recirculating cleaning utilizes two existing parallel ash pipelines to form a loop, creating a circulation system with the cleaning pump station. It introduces a solution of a certain acidity concentration, which circulates through the ash water pipeline for cleaning. Additionally, acid is continuously replenished as the acid washing reaches a certain level. For short-distance single ash water pipelines, if conditions permit, a temporary pipeline can be laid to form a recirculation loop for cleaning. This process must be carried out while the system is offline, and it is complex and costly.

Pilot cleaning

No two gray pipes can form a loop during cleaning; only a single gray pipe can be used for open-loop cleaning. The method involves connecting one end of the gray pipe to the cleaning unit, continuously preparing a certain concentration of cleaning solution in the dosing tank, and then continuously or intermittently injecting it into the gray pipe. This process requires additional cleaning equipment during shutdown, which increases costs.

Continuous cleaning without shutdown

The process involves continuously injecting a specific amount of acidic solution while the ash pipeline is operating normally and not halted. Simultaneously, a certain quantity of ash pipeline running cleaning inhibitor and pipeline cleaning stripping agent is added for open-circuit cleaning. The main function of the cleaning aid is to promote the reaction between the acidic solution and the ash scale at a certain concentration and flow rate, while also increasing its solubility in water and reducing the formation of air blockages, ensuring the quality of ash pipeline cleaning.

The procedure is as follows: Before cleaning, first estimate the required acid amount based on the total scale in the pipeline. Then, calculate the acid addition rate and the flow rate of the sludge pipeline by considering the flow rate of the gray water and the acidity. During cleaning, take a sample at the front end of the gray pipeline every 30 minutes to test the acidity and strictly control it by adjusting the flow rate of acid addition. In the later stage of cleaning, take a sample at the end of the gray pipeline every 15 minutes to test the pH value. When the pH value reaches a certain level and remains unchanged for 30 minutes, the cleaning can be deemed complete.

2. High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment
High-pressure water jet cleaning offers advantages such as high efficiency, low cost, non-damaging to workpieces, environmental friendliness, ease of operation, and safety.
High-pressure water technology offers the following advantages.

(1) High-quality cleaning - During high-pressure water jet cleaning of pipes and the internal cavities of heat exchangers, all scaling and obstructions within the pipes are thoroughly removed, revealing the metal surface. The high-pressure water jet, with its immense energy and supersonic movement, is fully capable of destroying hard scaling and obstructions without causing any damage to the metal.

(2) Fast Cleaning Speed: Due to the combined actions of jet washing, wedging, shearing, and abrasive cutting, scaling can be quickly broken and removed, which is several to tens of times faster than traditional chemical methods, sandblasting and shot peening, simple mechanical, and manual cleaning methods.

3. Pipe Scale

(1) Classified by chemical composition, they can be categorized into carbonate scale, sulfate scale, silicate scale, and mixed scale. The main components of carbonate scale are calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate; the main components of sulfate scale and silicate scale are calcium sulfate and silicate compounds, respectively.
