Japanese standard channel steel is a carbon structural steel used for construction and machinery, and it is a type of steel with a complex cross-section, having a concave shape. Japanese standard channel steel is primarily used in construction structures, machinery and equipment manufacturing, and vehicle production.
The product requires good welding, riveting properties, and comprehensive mechanical performance during use. The raw billets for the produced H-beams are carbon structural steel or low-alloy steel billets with carbon content not exceeding 0.25%.
Finished Japanese standard channel steel is supplied after hot processing, normalization, or hot rolling. The specifications are indicated in millimeters as waist height (h) x leg width (b) x waist thickness (d), such as channel steel 150*75*6.5, indicating a waist height of 150 millimeters.
75mm wide flange, 6.5mm thick channel steel, also known as 15# Japanese standard channel steel. For channel steels with the same waist height but different leg widths and thicknesses, add "a," "b," or "c" to the model number to differentiate.
Unspecified usually refers to sizes such as 7.5#, 12.5#A, 12.5#B, 15#A, 15#B, 20#, etc.
