This variety primarily produces fruiting branches from the early autumn shoot. The fruiting branches are mostly leafy flower branches, and the fruiting rate is generally higher in the middle and lower parts of the canopy. The "Woguang" grafting seedlings on Ponkan rootstock begin to flower for trial after 2 years of planting, with each plant producing up to 25 kg in the third year and 50 kg in the fourth year. The yield per mu is about 10,000 kg.

Adaptable to climate
"Wu gan" has moderate cold resistance, suitable for citrus planting areas with an average annual temperature above 17.5°C, with a minimum winter low temperature not below -1°C.
Grafted wood selection
In production, you can choose tangerine, red orange, jujube, or jujube orange as rootstocks. Avoid using pomelo as the rootstock, as it has an incompatibility with jujube for grafting.
