Nanyang Red Banana is a fruit variety introduced to Guangxi Province's Science and Technology Commission from Malaysia in 2001. It boasts strong cold resistance, vigorous growth, large fruits, attractive appearance, pink color, high sugar content, rich aroma, and good taste. The skin is red and thicker; the flesh is pale yellow, tender, and smooth. The unripe peel is purple-red and slightly dark, turning red upon ripening, with excellent storage durability. The peel is less prone to damage, and the fruits are plump and uniform in shape, with a glossy exterior and a refreshing, delicious taste. The sugar content is high, and it has a unique orchid-like fragrance. It is also rich in nutrition and vitamins. The yield of red-skinned bananas is low, as only one box can be found among tens of trucks filled with King Bananas, and it's priced higher. However, this does not diminish its popularity. The red color of the banana, in particular, carries a festive vibe and is even used as a gift by consumers to express their well-wishes to loved ones.
