How to differentiate between good and bad wood veneer panels?

Flatness of panels: When purchasing wood veneer panels, pay close attention to the flatness. If the surface is uneven or the color variations are significant, avoid selecting them. This also indicates that the craftsmanship of this brand is not up to par, such as irregular edges or insufficient adhesive quality.

Adhesive Strength of Panels: The wood veneer on the surface must be properly bonded to the base, with minimal color variation among similarly patterned decorative panels; glue leakage or delamination are not acceptable. Additionally, select panels with a moisture content between 8% to 12% to prevent cracking and warping.
Panel Thickness: Generally speaking, the thicker the wood veneer panel, the better, especially for thin face veneers, the thicker, the more natural it appears.
