II. Construction Process Requirements
1. There are two types of construction methods: mechanical paving and manual installation.
2. Surface Pretreatment - Clean the surface thoroughly to ensure it is free of any dirt, dust, water (including water stains), oil, etc. After cleaning, apply a primer evenly (mix the thinner: adhesive at a ratio of 3-4:1) to enhance its adhesion to the ground, preventing irreversible consequences.
3. Prior to construction, a small sample test must be conducted, and the following issues should be noted:
Material usage status, such as material ratio and whether the material curing time is normal.
After 24 hours, observe for any non-adhesive phenomena and ensure that the bonding and strength meet the required specifications.
4. Pre-job Preparation (Manual) - Material and tools (board, roller, lye water, cart, rake, etc.) preparation.
5. Worker Requirements: At least two workers are required for manual construction: one for material preparation and transportation, and one for laying.
6. Construction (Manual): Mix the materials in proportion, pour them onto the site, and spread them evenly. After applying soap water, compact the boards to ensure a flat and seamless surface, maintaining overall evenness.
7. The site thickness requirement is 8mm for black granules, and 5mm for EPDM colored granules.
8. Construction Precautions (Manual)
1) Construction temperature: 15-35°C; excessive or low temperatures may affect the construction process.
2) The spreading tool used (commonly referred to as a trowel or spreader).
3) Ensure thorough and even mixing of the blends.
4) Each batch of material must be well connected; otherwise, there will be seams.
5) Ensure neat trimming during the finishing process.
6) Always mix ingredients strictly in the proper proportions.
