A cast iron gate is a small flat gate, typically consisting of two parts: the gate leaf and the gate frame. Both the gate body and frame are made of cast iron, usually cast and machined as a whole.

Installation Precautions for Cast Iron Gate Operators:

The cast iron gate should be positioned vertically, not inclined.

2. The water flow must enter the gate from the front; the gate cannot withstand reverse pressure (except for bidirectional gates).

3. The bottom edge of the gate must be no less than 250mm from the pool bottom, and the gate frame should be 300mm away from the pool wall to ensure installation.

4. Cast iron gate valves in all series should not exceed the rated water pressure standard.

5. When installing the opening and closing machine and screw, pay attention to ensure that the machine, screw, and gate are all within the same vertical plane.

6. When the gate is lifted to a high height, an additional bearing frame should be installed. When installing the shaft guide frame, pay attention to ensure that the threaded rod joint does not pass through the bearing frame when the gate is fully open.

7. For flange-mounted installations, place a rubber sealing gasket at the assembly joint, followed by a secondary concrete grouting around the perimeter and the back of the guide rail.
