17-4 is a nickel chromium alloy with oxidation resistance and processing function. It is used for temperature measurement thermocouple maintenance tube. It has durability strength, cold and hot fatigue resistance, and anti carburizing function under high temperature oxidation atmosphere and pH 17-4Ni/Cr/Mo800 ℃. It is easy to weld and form by cold stamping.

17-4 Process Function and Requirements: This alloy has hot processing plasticity and strong deformation function. The forging heating temperature is 1170 ℃, and the final forging temperature is 900 ℃. The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the degree of deformation of the forging and the final forging temperature. The alloy can be welded using argon arc welding, spot welding, or seam welding methods, and its welding function is good with a low tendency for argon arc welding cracks.

After heat treatment, the oxide scale on the surface of the parts can be removed by sandblasting or acid washing.
