Overview and Application
The Gravity Concentration Sludge Scraper is suitable for circular sludge concentration ponds in wastewater treatment plants. Its primary function is to scrape the settled sludge at the bottom of the pond into a sludge collection pit for sludge concentration and dewatering. Depending on the need, a surface scraper mechanism can also be installed to collect floating sludge on the pond surface and discharge it out of the pond through a floating sludge funnel.

Model Features
The work bridge is designed with a truss structure, offering simplicity, aesthetics, and lightness.
2. Simple and convenient maintenance, low operation costs.
3. Multiple Transmission Reducer Options: Directly driven by a three-stage cycloidal reducer for central transmission, featuring a simple and compact structure, easy maintenance; combined drive with reducer, transmission gears, and rotating bearings to achieve high driving torque, suitable for heavy-duty applications. For peripheral transmission, uses a shaft-mounted design, simple and compact structure, easy maintenance; equipped with a cycloidal pinwheel reducer, offering good value for money and high transmission efficiency.
4. Electrical components are all outdoor type, safe and reliable, featuring both local and remote control capabilities.
5. Equipment can be custom-made to the user's specific dimensions. Parts in contact with water can be made of stainless steel.
Parameters and Specifications
Construction and engineering process
The central drive suspended thickener is mainly used for pond diameters less than 18 meters; the central drive vertical frame thickener is primarily for pond diameters between 18 to 30 meters; the semi-bridge peripheral drive thickener is suitable for circular sludge thickening ponds with larger diameters but not heavy loads.
The central drive suspended concentration machine is composed of main components such as the working bridge, drive unit, drive shaft, scraper arm and mud scraper, concentration mixing grates, tension cables, underwater bearings, mud pit mixing blades, flow stabilizing tube, and electrical control cabinet. According to actual conditions and customer requirements, accessories such as water outlet weir plates, skimming mechanisms, slag baffles, and slag discharge bins can also be provided.

The central drive hanging concentrator operates by a drive unit installed on the work bridge, which rotates the drive shaft. As the shaft rotates, it drives the scraper arms on both sides to rotate around the pool's central axis. The concentrator blades mounted on the scraper arms move through the sludge layer, providing a passage for water to escape from the sludge, thereby enhancing the sludge concentration effect. Simultaneously, a set of scraper blades on the scraper arms, as they rotate, scrape the settled sludge at the bottom of the pool towards the central sludge collection pit. Additionally, any floatables on the surface (if present) are concentrated in the constricted area formed by the scraper and surrounding baffles, then scraped into the collection bin and排出 (removed) from the pool.
The central drive vertical frame concentrator is composed of main components such as the working bridge (usually half-bridge), driving unit (commonly featuring a reducer, transmission gears, and a rotating bearing assembly), rotating vertical frame, scraper arm and sludge scraper, concentration mixing bars, tension cables, sludge bucket mixing blades, flow stabilizing tube, and electrical control cabinet. According to actual conditions and customer requirements, additional accessories such as water weir plates, skimming mechanisms, slag挡 boards, and slag discharge bins can also be provided.
The central drive vertical frame concentrator operates by the driving system mounted on the work bridge, which rotates the vertical frame suspended below. This rotation then drives the scraper arms to rotate clockwise. The concentration screening bars installed on the scraper arms move through the sludge layer, providing a passage for water to escape from the sludge, thereby enhancing the sludge concentration efficiency. Simultaneously, a set of scraper blades on the scraper arms, as they rotate, scrape the settled sludge at the bottom of the pool towards the central sedimentation pit in the center. The sludge is then discharged through the sludge outlet pipe. At the same time, any scum on the surface (if present) is concentrated in the constricted area formed by the scraper and surrounding baffles, and is scraped into the sediment collection bin and discharged out of the pool.
The peripheral drive concentrator is composed of main components such as the working bridge, truss and scraper component, concentration mixing bars, central support, drive mechanism, collector, electric control box, and accessories such as the outflow triangle weir plate, flow stabilizer tube, slag baffles, and scum scraper (whether provided to be agreed upon by both parties).
The work bridge is driven by a driving mechanism installed around it, rotating around a central support mounted at the center pier of the pond. Concentrated mixing bars suspended under the truss of the work bridge pass through the sludge layer, providing a passage for water to escape from the sludge, thereby enhancing the sludge concentration effect. At the same time, the inclined scraper plates below the truss collect the settled sludge at the bottom of the pond into a central sludge collection pit. The floating scum on the surface is concentrated in the constricted area formed by the scum scraper and the surrounding scum挡 plates, and is scraped into the sludge collection bin by the scum scraper, then discharged out of the pond.
Central drive overhead concentrator and central drive vertical frame concentrator civil construction drawings can be found in the central drive scraper; civil construction drawings for peripheral drive concentrators can be found in the peripheral drive scraper.
