The bonding surface must be cleaned with a 50% acetone solution, and after the surface is completely dry, apply the primer/adhesive evenly with a brush (no fiber shedding) to the bonded surface. The coating thickness should be 0.05MM. EPDM sealing strips require applying the primer twice back and forth to break the release agent on the surface, then the tape can be attached after the primer dries.

GY-918 primer is a light brown transparent liquid. It is a type of adhesive applied to the surface of the adherend before bonding to enhance adhesive properties. When it interacts with water molecules in the air, it generates high bonding strength and has high-temperature resistance. Particularly when used with 3M acrylic foam tape, it achieves excellent adhesion.

Application Guide (How to Use Adhesive Aid?)

1. Bonding Surface Preparation ·Wipe the bonding surface clean using a cloth soaked in 50% isopropyl alcohol, acetone, or toluene, ensuring no fibers are left behind.

2. Operation · Shake the bottle containing the primer vigorously before use. · Apply the primer evenly to the bonding surface using a brush or roller (ensure no fibers shed), with a layer thickness of generally 2~4u.

3. Drying Time - The drying time generally varies depending on temperature, humidity, and coating thickness. - Normal drying time: 3 minutes to half an hour - Good drying time: 5 to 10 minutes (Temperature: 23°C, Humidity: 65%) - During this time, attention must be paid to ensure the coating surface is not contaminated.

4. Apply double-sided tape by sticking it onto the dried coating surface and apply pressure.

Cautionary Notes:

·1. Primer is a highly active chemical substance, so only the amount needed for the day (8 hours) should be taken out each time, with the rest kept sealed for storage.

·2. The operating environment should have good ventilation and be kept clean. ·3. No smoking or open flames are allowed in the operating area; this product is flammable and should be kept away from fire sources.

Note: This product uses the same 3M technology and is a replacement for the 94 primer, not the original.

4. This product is not a cleaning liquid; do not use it incorrectly. Not suitable for children! Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with water.
