Steel flap gate utilizes an overhead-mounted structure, reducing the number of connecting bolts on the valve body under high pressure and large diameter conditions, enhancing the valve's reliability and overcoming the impact of system self-weight on the valve's normal operation. Application Range:
Steel gate valves are widely used in pipelines in coal chemical, petrochemical, rubber, and papermaking industries as devices for分流合流 or flow direction switching of mediums.
Steel gate valves are a type of check valve, primarily installed at the end of drainage pipes to prevent backflow of external water. Materials include stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, and more.
Steel flap gates are a type of one-way valve installed at the outlet of drainage pipes along rivers and canals. When the river or canal tide level is higher than the outlet pipe opening and the pressure is greater than the pressure inside the pipe, the flap gate panel automatically closes to prevent the river or canal tide from reversing into the drainage pipeline.
The steel flap gate serves the function of one-way opening in the forward flow and closing in the reverse direction. The valve cover of the flap gate, utilizing its self-weighted balance, automatically opens or closes the gate leaf under the action of water flow, or can be opened or closed with slight external force; a pull ring is installed on the flap gate cover, pulling the ring should allow the cover to open at an angle greater than 60 degrees with no jamming, and the operation should be free and flexible. When the flap gate is partially submerged in water and the internal pressure of the pipeline is high while the reverse pressure is low, the flap gate allows for a certain amount of leakage. When the river water pressure increases, the flap gate will automatically close and seal.
Steel flap gates are used for overflow and check valve functions in various pipelines and water channels for drainage and wastewater treatment projects. They can also be used as covers for various manholes, and are solely intended for outlets with one-way water flow.
