Galvanized Welded Pipe is a type of welded pipe that undergoes hot-dip galvanizing process. The zinc coating requirements are as follows: According to Clause 6.2 of GB/T 13912-2002 "Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Hot-Dip Galvanized Coatings on Ferrous Metal Products," the average coating thickness is 85μm for pipes with a wall thickness of ≥6mm; and 70μm for pipes with a wall thickness between 3mm and 6mm.
Galvanized strip pipes are formed by bending and welding galvanized strips, offering lower costs compared to galvanized welded pipes, but with a shorter corresponding service life.
Galvanized steel pipes have a wide range of applications. The natural gas pipelines in our daily lives are made of galvanized焊接 pipes. Radiators and greenhouse construction also use galvanized pipes. Some scaffolding pipes used in construction for corrosion prevention are also galvanized.
