The double flange limiting expansion joint is composed of main components such as the body, sealing ring, pressure cover, and extension/retraction pipe. It adds a limiting device to the existing performance of the loose-fitting expansion joint, using double nuts to lock at the maximum expansion point. The pipeline can freely expand and contract within the allowable expansion range, and once it exceeds the maximum expansion, it acts as a limit, ensuring the safe operation of the pipeline. It is particularly suitable for connections in pipelines with vibration, certain angles, or bends.
The advantages of the expansion joints are: high expansion range and easy and quick installation.
Features: Suitable for pipes connected by flanges at both ends.
Operating Principle: After the loose-type expansion joint is installed on the pipeline, tighten the nut and apply the elastic sealing ring. Under the action of the nut cover, it is pressed tightly against the outer circumference of the pipe for sealing and connecting purposes due to the mutual obliquity. When the temperature changes, the pipe can freely expand and contract in the joint. If the ground subsides, the pipe can tilt, ensuring a leak-proof seal and thereby achieving automatic compensation.
