Insulating flange components are a general term for pipeline flange joints that meet the sealing performance requirements for buried steel pipelines and the electrical insulation performance requirements for anticorrosive engineering. This includes a pair of steel flanges, an insulating seal between the flanges, flange fasteners and insulating parts for the fasteners, as well as a pair of steel short pipes that have been separately welded to each flange. Insulating flange components and insulating joints are products produced for industries such as oil and petrochemicals. They feature a simple structure, safe operation, reliable performance, and have received widespread praise from customers.
Insulating flange components have been developed into a series. In case of special circumstances, they can be custom-designed and manufactured according to customer requirements. The main application of insulating flange components is in gas transmission pipelines and equipment for gas regulation, measurement, and storage. Their primary function is to provide electrical insulation and isolation between sections of gas transmission pipelines and between equipment and pipelines, protecting them from chemical corrosion and extending the service life of the pipelines and equipment. The products comply with the standard SY/T0516-1997 "Technical Specification for Design of Insulating Flange Components."
