MAC-3 Series Cable Buoy Level Switch I. Overview The MAC-3 model is a high-seal performance floating switch produced by Italy's Macher Company. This product is suitable for controlling liquid pumps, regulating liquid levels, and can also be installed on submersible pumps for motor control and protection. The high-seal performance is guaranteed by polypropylene injection. The MAC-3 Cable Buoy Level Switch is a switch that can regulate the liquid level in drums, tanks, or wells. It is automatic, easy to operate, easy to install, safe and reliable, maintenance-free, and non-toxic and environmentally friendly. It is resistant to sewage and widely used in water pools, oil, acid, and alkali tanks, drums, tanks, and other containers in homes and factories. The MAC-3 Floating Switch is designed using the principles of gravity and buoyancy, featuring a simple and reasonable structure. It mainly includes a buoy float, a high-capacity miniature switch set inside the buoy float, and a driving mechanism that can put the switch in an open or closed state, as well as a three-core cable connected to the switch. II. Main Features: The significant features of this product are stable and reliable performance (not caused by fluctuations in the liquid level), non-toxic, corrosion-resistant, easy to install, low cost, and long service life. The product can be matched with various liquid pumps and is widely used in automatic level control for water supply, drainage, and corrosive liquid levels. III. Main Technical Parameters: 1. Working Voltage: 220V. 2. Working Current: 8A. 3. Working Temperature: 0~80℃. 4. Electrical Life: 1×100000 times. 5. Mechanical Life: 5×100000 times. Installation Instructions Water Supply System Use "black" and "blue" wires: The contacts are closed when the buoy is at the lower water level; the contacts are open when the buoy is at the higher water level. Drainage System Use "black" and "brown" wires: The contacts are closed when the buoy is at the higher water level; the contacts are open when the buoy is at the lower water level. Method of Installing the Weights 1. Thread the wire from the floating switch into the center concave hole of the weight, then gently push the weight to make the plastic ring above the hole detach due to the push of the wire end. (If necessary, use a screwdriver to remove this plastic ring), then place this detached plastic ring on the cable where you want to secure the weight to set the water level position. 2. Gently pull the weight to pull out the cable until the center of the weight hooks the plastic ring. The weight will not slip off as long as it is slightly hooked in the plastic ring. If this plastic ring is damaged or lost, it can be replaced with bare copper wire inserted into the cable. The weight is an accessory provided upon request. Please pull the cable directly to the control box, avoiding the use of intermediate joints as much as possible. If a joint is unavoidable, never immerse the cable joint in water.
