The flexible pneumatic shutoff device's rubber sleeve is under tension due to fluid pressure. Because the sleeve contains an angle-arranged reinforcing fabric layer inside, it balances the axial and radial pressure, so the sleeve's length and diameter do not change with fluid pressure. When the control medium enters the cavity between the sleeve and the valve body, the sleeve deforms to cutoff the flow under the medium pressure.
The flexible pneumatic cutoff device connects the cavity between the rubber sleeve and the valve body to the atmosphere when the control medium is not input, and the rubber sleeve is in a tensioned state due to the fluid pressure. Because the sleeve contains a layer of reinforced fabric arranged at an angle, it balances the axial and radial pressures, so the length and diameter of the sleeve do not change due to fluid pressure. When the control medium enters the cavity between the sleeve and the valve body, the sleeve deforms to cutoff the flow under the medium pressure.

Flexible pneumatic flow control device for rainwater and wastewater separation is installed with a liquid flow control gate at the wastewater and rainwater inlets of a traditional interception well, allowing for accurate separation of rainwater and wastewater. The interception well has three pipe openings: an inlet for mixed rainwater, an outlet for wastewater, and an outlet for rainwater. The rainwater pipe connects to the municipal wastewater well, the rainwater pipe to the municipal rainwater well, or discharges to a nearby river. On sunny days, the wastewater gate is open and the rainwater gate is closed, allowing wastewater to flow directly into the wastewater network, while rainwater in the rainwater pipe cannot backflow into the wastewater pipe. During rainy days, the wastewater gate automatically closes and the rainwater gate automatically opens, collecting a large amount of rainwater directly into the rainwater pipe, and wastewater in the wastewater pipe cannot backflow into the rainwater pipe. When the volume decreases or the water level drops, the liquid flow control gate automatically returns to the state where the wastewater gate is open and the two water inlets are closed. The equipment operates fully automatically. By setting the volume and water level values for rainy and sunny days in the program, the device can execute corresponding actions and continuously monitor the on-site conditions.
