The liquid-powered downstream hinged weir gate is made of 304 stainless steel with plates over 10mm in thickness, offering a longer service life than traditional hydraulic gates. Its hydraulic transmission method effectively prevents jamming in harsh wastewater environments and operates more safely and stably than electric gates.
Selecting a 380V high-power hydraulic pump ensures sufficient power for the gate's opening and closing. The double-layered, high-pressure flexible hose, with its corrosion and pressure resistance, is equipped with a position sensor, pressure switch, and bi-directional balance valve, accurately reflecting the gate's status, pressure coefficient, and pressure retention effect. SCADA Control System: Utilizing Siemens PLCs, Schneider Electric low-voltage electrical components, and other imported electrical elements, it is configured with ultrasonic level gauges, level sensors, rainfall sensors, and COD water quality online analyzers, accurately measuring various conditions within the culvert, providing the control system with correct parameters for action. Equipped with a remote module and high-definition cameras, the system allows for real-time monitoring and control of the equipment from a computer, at any time and place, to view data or operate the devices.

Structure and Working Principle:
The hydraulic down-opening weir gate system primarily consists of weir gates, hydraulic systems, ultrasonic liquid level gauges, and control systems. For ease of later maintenance, a maintenance groove is typically provided in front and behind the weir gates.
The gate valve is driven and controlled by an actuating cylinder to raise and lower the gate plate. The actuating cylinder can be equipped with an automatic control system, allowing for unmanned automatic control of the hydraulic sliding gate valve. Water from upstream overflows from the top of the gate plate, which can be raised or lowered as needed and can stop at any position to control the water distribution flow or adjust the upstream water level. It can achieve various functions such as flushing, water level control, and flow control.
Ultrasonic level sensors detect water levels on both sides of the weir gate and convert them into electrical signals for the control system. The control system drives hydraulic cylinders on both sides of the weir gate to slide the weir plate up and down in the guide slot. Rubber sealing elements are installed on both sides and the bottom of the guide slot for sealing purposes (can be three-sided or four-sided sealing). The hydraulic cylinders are equipped with displacement sensors, allowing precise control of the weir plate to stop at any position. In the event of a power outage, the system can control upstream water levels, flushing, and prevention of backflow, among other functions.
