Introduction to 5-ton belt pulley vacuum pump:

One. Inadequate vacuum level

1. The vacuum pump temperature is too high.

(1) Gas temperature too high upon extraction. Solution: The gas should be cooled before entering the vacuum pump.

(2) Hard object inhalation causes vacuum pump body wear. Solution: The vacuum pump should be disassembled to remove the hard object, and the scratched parts should be replaced or repaired.

(3) Insufficient flow rate of vacuum pump cooling water. Solution: Increase the flow rate of cooling water.

(4) Incorrect assembly causes the shaft center of the rotor to shift, resulting in uneven wear. Solution: Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble.

2. There is an issue with the vacuum pump oil

(1) Oil level too low. Solution: Fill oil to the level of the oil indicator line.

(3) Oil contamination, deterioration of oil quality. Solution: Replace with new oil.

(3) The oil brand does not match. Solution: Replace with the specified vacuum pump oil.

(4) Oil flow obstruction; insufficient oil level in the vacuum pump chamber. Solution: Check the oil flow and intake of the oil valve, maintain the oil path.

3. The vacuum pump itself is leaking

(1) Seal leak. Solution: Check the sealing condition of all sealing parts and replace any damaged seals.

(2) Damaged or loose gas check valve gasket. Solution: Replace the gasket and tighten the gas check valve.

(3) Exhaust valve seats are damaged, resulting in poor sealing. Solution: Replace the valve seats.

(4) Excessive interference fit when the partition is inserted into the vacuum pump, causing the pump cavity to deform and leak. Solution: Refurbish the pump cavity or replace it.

(5) Leaking due to poor oil seal at the vacuum pump's end face. Solution: Remove the end cover, check for debris or unevenness, and clean or repair as needed.

(6) Bullet spring deformation or breakage, and spiral blade inaction. Solution: Repair or replace the deformed spring to ensure proper fit of the rotor and spiral blade.

(7) The air intake filter is clogged. Solution: Remove the filter, clean it thoroughly, and re-install it.

(8) Excessive clearance due to poor processing or wear. Solution: Check the clearance between the vacuum pump chamber, rotor, scraper, and end cover plate, and adjust or replace to meet the specified precision requirements.

(9) During operation, the vacuum pump generates frictional heat, which causes the temperature to rise excessively, thinning the vacuum pump oil and compromising its sealing. Solution: Cool with chilled water or use an electric fan to lower the temperature. Additionally, inspect the fitting gaps of relevant components and repair or replace them according to the specified precision requirements.

Section 2: Excessive heating in the bearing area of the pump

1. The outer race of the bearing is loose, causing friction. Solution: Replace the bearing or the bearing cap.

2. Too much grease in the bearing. Solution: Reduce the amount of oil packed into the bearing cavity.

3. The bearings are damaged. Solution: Replace the bearings.

4. Improper fit of the inner and outer rings of the bearing, resulting in excessive tightness. Solution: Remove the bearing, grind down the shaft journals, and increase the diameter of the bearing housing bore.

3. Electric motors and vacuum pumps exhibit abnormal operation. Symptoms include overloading of the motor, unusual noises or sounds during vacuum pump operation, difficulty in rotation, or the occurrence of a "stuck" situation.

1. The vacuum pump temperature is too high; refer to Item 1(1) for handling.

2. Spring deformation or breakage causes uneven force distribution on the vanes, resulting in impact sounds. Solution: Replace the spring.

3. Improper assembly leads to one-sided wear. Solution: Reassemble.

4. Filter mesh damage, metal and glass shavings fall into the vacuum pump, causing operation hindrance. Solution: Disassemble the vacuum pump for inspection, remove debris, or replace worn parts, and reassemble the filter mesh.

5. Severe contamination within the vacuum pump chamber leads to component rusting. Solution: Disassemble the vacuum pump, clean it, remove rust spots, and change the oil.

6. The vacuum pump oil turns milky and its viscosity increases. Solution: Replace with new vacuum pump oil.

7. The vacuum pump chamber, shaft, and sleeve fit too tightly, leading to poor lubrication. Solution: Reassemble and clear and adjust the oil path, enhancing lubrication.

8. The motor is producing noise due to a fault. Solution: Inspect the motor or apply lubricating grease to the bearings.

Four: Vacuum pump oil leakage, oil spilling

1. Seals at the shaft, oil window, oil drain, oil tank, etc., are damaged or incorrectly assembled. Solution: Thoroughly inspect and replace any damaged seals. When tightening the screws, apply even pressure.

2. Oil leakage at the end face due to uneven front and rear surfaces or loose end plates. Solution: Flatten the end face and tighten the front and rear end plates.

3. Excessive intake pressure. Solution: Attempt to reduce the intake volume.

4. The case has leak holes. Solution: Check and seal the hole area.

5. Excessive oil levels lead to oil injection. Solution: Release the excess oil.

6. Oil-catching screen installed upside down under the exhaust cover causes fuel spraying. Solution: Reinstall the oil-catching screen.

7. Sudden exposure to the atmosphere causes oil leakage. Solution: Immediately close the low vacuum valve.

V. Difficulty in starting the vacuum pump

1. The vacuum pump has been refueled. Solution: Rotate the belt pulley a few times by hand to start it up.

2. Due to long-term inactivity or failure to place in the atmosphere after shutdown, the vacuum pump chamber becomes filled with vacuum pump oil. Solution: Rotate the belt wheel by hand a few times to start up.

3. The oil temperature is too low. Solution: Heat the oil or maintain the room temperature above 15 degrees Celsius. Alternatively, manually rotate the belt pulley a few times, then continue to run the power for several minutes to operate normally.

3. The oil has gone bad. Solution: Replace with new vacuum pump oil.

4. Power phase loss. Solution: Inspect the power supply.

Section 6: Vacuum pump unable to extract liquid

1. No liquid injection. Solution: Refill the vacuum pump.

2. Clog in the inlet, outlet, or vacuum pump channel. Solution: Debris.

3. Gas not fully evacuated from the intake tube or vacuum pump. Solution: Inspect the intake tube and evacuate the gas.

4. Suction height exceeds the permitted range. Solution: Reinstall the vacuum pump according to the permitted suction height.

5. Too thin extrusion conduit, resulting in significant conduit loss. Solution: Replace with a suitable extrusion conduit.

6. Exceeding the designed head. Solution: Re-select the vacuum pump.

7. Transporting hot, volatile media. Solution: Reduce the suction lift or use reverse flow installation.

8. The steering is reversed. Solution: Correct the steering.
