


Soft-seated gate valve, including a flat-bottomed valve body, a valve cover mounted on the valve body with left-hand internal hexagonal cylinder bolts, a left seal ring mounted on the valve cover, a valve stem mounted in the valve cover with steps, a valve stem nut mating with the valve stem threads, an O-ring mounted on the valve stem, a rubber gate plate embedded in a hole and mounted on the valve stem nut, a stuffing box mounted on the valve cover with bolts, a right seal ring mounted between the valve cover and stuffing box, several O-rings mounted inside the stuffing box, a dust cover mounted at the right end of the stuffing box, and a drive cap mounted on the valve stem with right-hand internal hexagonal cylinder bolts. This novel soft-seated gate valve features a non-deformable, erosion-resistant sealing surface, tight sealing, replaceable sealing material, and a long service life. It is widely applicable in industrial valves, potable water valves, and marine valves.
