Corrosion-Resistant Spiral Steel Pipe for Drinking Water Use
Water-based coating films for drinking water are non-toxic, high in solids content, and low in viscosity, offering strong adhesion, high strength, resistance to abrasion, hydrolysis, corrosion, water, and excellent weather resistance. This is a new type of anticorrosive coating. It is suitable for the internal walls of equipment and facilities such as oil, chemical, power, metallurgy, transportation, food, gas holders, pipelines, storage tanks, etc., as a long-lasting anticorrosive coating for steel structures and concrete surfaces. It can also be used as anticorrosive coating for both the inner and outer walls of buried pipelines and as a coating for the internal walls of cooling towers. Cyanogen-based anticorrosive coatings are aromatic polyurethane with superior resistance to chemicals, heat, and radiation. The coating has good physical and mechanical properties, high strength, good wear resistance, and a glossy finish. It exhibits excellent anticorrosive properties, being resistant to oil, acids, alkalis, salts, and industrial fumes.
Corrosion-resistant spiral steel pipes for drinking water are primarily used for concrete surfaces, chemical equipment, pipelines, oil tanks, and the anti-corrosion treatment of facilities or equipment such as water gates, dams, docks, and mines.
One, Composition: This product is a two-component, high solid content paint, mainly composed of epoxy resin. It is divided into primer and topcoat. The A component consists of epoxy resin, pigments, fillers, and additives. The B component is a curing agent formulated with modified amines.
II. Features and Application Fields:
Excellent durability; the coating after curing with epoxy resin is tough, waterproof, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. Strong adhesion between layers; the coating has good adhesion properties. Excellent rust and waterproof performance, guaranteed by high-quality anti-rust materials. High mechanical strength, with a tough, abrasion-resistant, and impact-resistant coating. High solid content with thicker film. Cures to form a film at room temperature; no need for large-scale baking equipment.
Broadly applicable for the interior coating of water tanks, water pipes, reservoirs, water towers, and other water supply equipment, as well as for use in cargo holds for sugar and grain. It can also serve as an interior coating for swimming pool, power plant cooling towers, and metal and concrete structures for storing fuel oil and gasoline.
