Introduction to Heat Insulating Polyurethane Coated Steel Pipe
This type of product has a 40-year history in the European construction industry since its application in the 1960s. Some have even legislated to use polyurethane as thermal insulation for steel pipes in construction, coated with two layers of anti-rust paint after sandblasting. Pre-fabricated buried thermal insulation pipes are made of hot-rolled seamless steel tubes, capable of withstanding high temperatures and pressures, suitable for media temperatures up to 350°C, with strong corrosion resistance. The protective coating is highly durable and difficult to damage. Elbows are pipe fittings used at pipe bends. They account for approximately the largest proportion of all pipe fittings used in the pipeline system. Typically, different forming processes are chosen for elbows made of different materials or wall thicknesses. Common seamless elbow forming processes used by manufacturers include hot pushing, stamping, and extrusion. The galvanized iron outer casing utilizes a helical forming structure, which offers excellent bending resistance and stress distribution at the joints.
4. Service Life
The insulation pipe in this structure is a three-layer design, with the working pipe and insulation fully protected by the outer sheath; the outer sheath is coated with galvanized anti-corrosion material, allowing for continuous use under normal operating conditions for 30 years.
