The fire-fighting water supply system requires pipes with flame-retardant, corrosion-resistant, and mechanical strength properties; the corrosion-resistant pipeline system for chemical industries has more stringent requirements, necessitating ultra-corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and non-scaling pipeline surfaces; the electrical wiring system demands smooth inner walls of conduit to prevent damage to cables, and requires adequate mechanical strength and seismic performance, as well as certain underground corrosion protection functions; the water supply pipeline system requires pipes to be safe, hygienic, non-toxic, and non-radioactive, etc. Epoxy powder coated steel pipes are environmentally friendly, and refer to compounds that contain two or more epoxy groups and can form a three-dimensional network solid under the presence of appropriate chemical agents. These are a class of important thermosetting resins. Epoxy resins include both oligomers with epoxy groups and low molecular weight compounds containing epoxy groups. As the matrix for adhesives, coatings, and composite materials, epoxy resins are widely used in water conservancy, transportation, machinery, electronics, home appliances, automobiles, and aerospace industries. The inner and outer coated epoxy resin composite steel pipes are a new type of pipeline material developed after years of research and testing.
