Spiritual strongholds are typically tall and large, often standing prominently in publicly spacious areas. Small to medium-sized spiritual strongholds are at least 5 to 10 meters in height, while medium to large-sized ones can reach several dozen meters. The actual dimensions are highly related to the architecture and context, and cannot be generalized. The unique names of spiritual strongholds are due to their rich cultural connotations and values, which are largely spiritual in nature. Therefore, they are called "spiritual strongholds." During the design process, the considerations far exceed those of basic wayfinding signage, such as billboards and illuminated advertising boxes. While basic signage does not need to incorporate excessive cultural elements, spiritual strongholds are different. They can be a form of advertising or an extraction of the cultural values necessary for the context. They must be artistically striking yet integral to the environment.
