Features
For a high-strength hard aluminum, it can be heat-treated for strengthening. It has moderate plasticity in the annealed, quenched, and hot conditions, good spot welding weldability; however, there is a tendency for intergranular cracks to form when using gas welding and TIG welding. The aluminum tube maintains good machinability after quenching and cold working hardening, but is poor when in the annealed state. Corrosion resistance is not high, so anodizing and painting methods or adding an aluminum clad layer on the surface are commonly used to enhance corrosion resistance. It can also be used as a mold material.
Aluminum Tube Advantages:
Firstly, the welding technology advantage: suitable for thin-walled copper and aluminum tube welding technology in industrial production, known as a challenge, and is the key technology for replacing copper with aluminum in air conditioner connecting pipes.
Secondly, the lifespan advantage: From the inner wall of the aluminum tube, since the refrigerant does not contain water, there will be no corrosion on the inner wall of the copper-aluminum joint pipe.
Thirdly, energy-saving advantage: The connection piping between the indoor and outdoor units of the air conditioner; the lower the heat transfer efficiency, the more energy-efficient, or in other words, the better the insulation, the less electricity it consumes.
