Grounding rods for lightning protection of buildings, typically composed of a base, rod body, and grounding tip, with a height range of:0.4 meters to 20 meters. Lightning rods below 12 meters are commonly used for installation on the roofs and exterior walls of buildings, as well as on the roofs and sides of metal structures, cooling towers' sides or tops, metal tank tops or sides, boiler tops or sides, and various other structural elements. The rod body should be made of steel pipe, while the termination rod should be made of round steel. After welding, the lightning rod should be treated with a full-body hot-dip galvanizing process. The termination end of the termination rod should be hemispherical, with a small bending radius of 4.8mm and a large one of 12.7mm. The connection point between steel pipes should have the through-bolts installed before welding the welding nuts.
