Square counterflow cooling tower structural features
(1) Filler: Utilizes products from the Four Institutes - trapezoidal wave filler sheets with added ribs horizontally, boasting excellent water redistribution capabilities, low resistance, and good thermal performance. Resists high temperatures up to 70°C and low temperatures down to -50°C, with excellent flame retardancy.
(2) Electric Motor: Designed by the Department of Electrical Engineering at Tsinghua University and manufactured by the Yeng Mengjin Electric Motor Factory, the product is a four-in-one variable torque, variable noise, energy-saving electric motor. It boasts excellent sealing and waterproof performance, high-temperature resistance, and low noise.
(3)减速 Gearbox: Gearboxes with power ≤ 11/5.5KW utilize polyester fiber reinforced chloroprene belting for power transmission, featuring high heat resistance and efficiency, non-expandable when wet, overcoming slip issues, and very low noise. Gearboxes with power ≥ 15/7.5KW are equipped with gear reduction and the motor is mounted externally to the air duct.
(4) Fans: Low-noise, wing-shaped glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) blades designed based on the parameters of this series by the Department of Engineering Mechanics at Tsinghua University. These blades produce minimal noise and are adjustable in blade angle.
(5) Water collection and distribution system: Utilizes reflective low-pressure nozzles, with single vortex nozzles for small towers, ensuring even water distribution and low water pressure. The installed water collection devices can reduce water loss from drift to 0.01%.
(6) Sound Absorption Facilities: The ultra-low noise cooling tower is equipped with a shield and sound-absorbing grille above the outlet of the upper tower body, which are lined with sound-absorbing materials, to achieve noise reduction.
