Seamless steel pipes are made by piercing a solid round steel billet, which have no welds on the surface and are known as seamless pipes. According to the production method, seamless steel pipes can be categorized into hot-rolled, cold-rolled, cold drawn, extruded, and jacking pipes. Based on cross-sectional shape, they are divided into round and shaped pipes, with shaped pipes coming in various complex shapes such as square, elliptical, triangular, hexagonal, pumpkin, star-shaped, and winged tubes. The diameter ranges from 4mm to 900mm. Depending on their application, they are available in thick-walled and thin-walled versions. Seamless steel pipes are primarily used for oil and gas geological drilling pipes, cracking pipes for petrochemicals, boiler pipes, bearing pipes, and high-precision structural steel pipes for automotive, tractor, and aviation use.
