3. Clear the site first, sprinkle an adequate amount of water to facilitate construction.

Subsequently, gently tap the brick surface with a wooden hammer to ensure the mortar is fully absorbed, preventing hollow sounds.

5. Then, use a wooden hammer to flatten the brick surface and measure with a level.
