Quyang Stone Carving Craft Factory is located in Quyang County, Hebei Province, a renowned carving town both domestically and internationally. Quyang County is named after its location on the sunny side of the ancient Mount Hengshan (now known as Damao Mountain in Tang County), where it is situated. With a long history, evidence from the "Lingshan Caves" in the northern part of the county, and other archaeological sites, shows that the area was inhabited by the ancestors of the Chinese people as early as hundreds of thousands of years ago. This rich history has given rise to many famous figures, including the Prime Ministers Lian Xiangru, Du Bi, and Wang Anzhong; Generals and Marshals such as Li Zuochi, Li Jin, and the four brothers Di; as well as dozens of philosophers, historians, military strategists, and sculptural artists like Huang Shigong, Du Taqing, and Yang Qiong.
Shilong Stone Carving has established long-standing partnerships with various stone quarries over the years. We have now developed 6 mines in collaboration, producing over a hundred thousand cubic meters of raw stone annually. With abundant stone resources, we ensure a secure supply for large-scale stone engineering projects.
In early 2013, Shilong Stone Carving Factory actively responded to the county's call to expand and strengthen the stone industry, and invested in the construction of a new facility in the Quyang County Modern Sculpture Industrial Park. The factory covers an area of 40 mu and has an investment of 20 million yuan. It boasts three modern workshops, 10 multi-body composite saws, 10 infrared bridge-cutting machines, 1 fully automatic polishing machine, 6 single-blade saws, 4 computer-shaped machines, 6 infrared middle-cutting machines, 30 intelligent carving machines, as well as various non-standard processing equipment such as line machines and edge polishing machines. After the new factory went into production, it can produce 2,000 square meters of board per day and 1,000 meters of stone railings, improving production capacity to meet various customer needs.
