Rock wool board, also known as rock wool thermal insulation and decorative board, is an inorganic fiber board made by melting and processing basalt at high temperatures. It was successfully mass-produced in June 1981. Rock wool board is a new type of thermal insulation, fire-retardant, and sound-absorbing material.
Rock wool boards are artificial inorganic fibers processed through high-temperature melting, characterized by their light weight, low thermal conductivity, heat absorption, and non-flammability. Initially developed, they are commonly used in the construction industry and should comply with the regulations of "Application Types and Basic Requirements for Building Insulation Materials," particularly for industrial buildings. 。
