Rock wool board, also known as rock wool thermal insulation and decorative board, is an inorganic fiber board made from basalt as the main raw material through high-temperature melting and processing. In June 1981, the trial production of rock wool board was successfully completed. Rock wool board is a new type of thermal insulation, fire-retardant, and sound-absorbing material.
Rock wool boards are artificial inorganic fibers processed through high-temperature melting, characterized by light weight, low thermal conductivity, heat absorption, and non-flammability. Initially developed for common applications in construction, they are mostly used in industrial buildings and should comply with the provisions of "Application Types and Basic Requirements for Building Insulation Materials." 。
