Natural stones are categorized into slate and granite based on their physical and chemical properties. Artificial stones are divided into terrazzo and composite stones. Terrazzo is formed by forging materials such as cement and concrete; composite stones are made from crushed natural stones, combined with adhesives, and then compressed and polished. The latter two are man-made, so they do not possess the same strength as natural stones.
