Material Overview:
Silicon carbide hybrid polymer series materials are developed through advanced U.S. technology and imported raw materials, tailored to the corrosion prevention needs of China's thermal power industry flue gas desulfurization systems. Under the guidance of renowned anti-corrosion experts from prestigious universities, these materials have been further modified and synthesized to create a series of corrosion-resistant desulfurization system materials. This series boasts high corrosion resistance, low permeability, strong bonding power, high wear resistance, and ease of application. The solution effectively prevents issues like cracking and peeling of traditional coatings, as well as the complexities of secondary construction, resulting in a seamless, double-lining structure with a highly heat-resistant surface layer. It ensures successful corrosion prevention and guarantees the safety of chimneys. After applying this material for corrosion protection, the inner surface of the chimney remains smooth and flat, effectively ensuring the integrity of the anti-corrosion effect.
Performance Features:
Excellent corrosion resistance. Due to the use of high-performance silicon carbide and ceramics in the inorganic components of this material, the material boasts superior wear and corrosion resistance.
Lower permeability. The material's water vapor permeability is 6-15 times higher than that of ordinary epoxy resin coatings and 4 times higher than that of ordinary epoxy FRP.
The material boasts strong bonding strength, with high adhesion to concrete or carbon steel substrates, and a bonding strength to steel plates of ≥10.0Mpa. Compared to other products on the market, the coating is less prone to cracking, delamination, or peeling. It offers good adhesion and impact resistance, ensuring superior wear and corrosion resistance.
Excellent wear resistance. The material has a higher hardness after curing, up to 2-3 times that of ordinary alkyd paint, with good wear resistance. When subjected to mechanical damage, the material's damage is localized with minimal spreading, making it easy to repair.
The process is of good quality. The solid content of the material is high, resulting in a thicker film. Depending on the specific requirements of the user, various forming processes such as spraying, troweling, and brushing can be employed. The material can be mixed on-site and cured at room temperature, which offers convenience for anti-corrosion design and construction. After years of use, if the coating sustains local damage, it can be quickly repaired with a simple treatment at the affected area, allowing for continued use without affecting performance. Its excellent repairability sets it apart from other materials.
