Tubular screw conveyors, commonly known as augers, are also referred to as shaftless screw conveyors. They are equipment that transports materials by the rotation of a spiral without a central shaft. Tubular screw conveyors can handle materials that traditional shafted screw conveyors and belt conveyors cannot or are difficult to convey, such as granular and powdered materials, wet and paste-like materials, semi-liquids and sticky materials, materials that are prone to tangling and clogging, and materials that require special hygiene standards for shaftless screw conveyors.
Tube Spiral Conveyer Application Range:
A widely used conveying equipment in industries such as chemicals, building materials, grain and oil, feed, food, metallurgy, mining, and plastics. Suitable for horizontal, inclined, and vertical conveyance of granular or powdered materials, the screw conveyor features simple structure, low production cost, strong sealing, easy operation, and the ability to add or remove points at multiple locations without moving the drive unit. It can be disassembled without moving the spiral, and lubricating the bearing is possible without removing the cover plate. It boasts good machineability, long service life, high adaptability, and easy installation and maintenance. The conveying distance ranges from 2 to 70 meters, with specifications from 120 to 600 models. GL tube-type screw conveyors are available in carbon steel and stainless steel. Shaftless screw conveyors and customized special specifications are also available upon customer request.
