Armored guards are used for guideways, beams, and columns of machinery such as grinding machines, instruments, measuring instruments, and CNC special machines. The design of the armored guards allows them to withstand high temperatures of up to +900°C caused by impacts and scorching fragments. Stainless steel armor fitted to each fold has this function. They can be swinging or fixed. The swinging armor is suitable for guards where, when compressed, the armor is forced to rotate outward by 90°. Fixed armor can be applied to guards where, when compressed, there are no obstructions allowing the armor to maintain its original state. Due to the good adhesion between pre-set guards, this shield provides a reliable protective layer against a large amount of dust, sand, iron filings, and more.
