1. For the chassis part, pay attention to the engine horsepower and tire quality. Depending on the area where the water truck is used and the road conditions, choose engines with different horsepower and different chassis.

2. Tank Volume - Choose the tank volume based on the spraying intensity; options range from 3 to 3 cubic meters.

3. Vessel Material: Currently, manufacturers typically use Q235 carbon steel plate. The main material thickness varies, with some small factories using 3.5mm or thinner plates to gain profit. For plate thickness of 4mm or more, automatic welding is recommended for the vessel.

4. Pumps are crucial as they are used long-term, and high-quality pumps should be used. Generally, high-power sprinkler pumps are chosen. The sprinkler truck can be equipped with a pump based on the torque of its engine. It's not that the higher the pump power, the better the sprinkling function. Using a high-power pump with a low-torque engine is like a small horse pulling a heavy cart; it doesn't utilize the pump's full potential and strains the engine. Conversely, using a low-power pump with a high-torque engine results in energy loss and can damage both the pump and the engine.

Water Sprinkler Function Description for Sprinkler Trucks

1. The sprinkler truck is equipped with a duck-shaped nozzle or a round head jet at the front, and a cylindrical sprinkler nozzle or a rose-type nozzle at the rear. It features a working platform with a water cannon. Additionally, it can be optionally fitted with 8 more nozzles.

2. Sprinklers are commonly used for street cleaning, dust control, and cooling purposes. The direction and angle of the sprinkler's spray can be adjusted by changing the thread of the nozzle. High-pressure water cannons can be utilized for both urban and rural landscaping as well as emergency firefighting. Rose-type nozzles can help settle dust picked up by the middle-of-the-road sprinklers, thus contributing to cleaner air.

Before each opening of the feed port cover on the sprinkler truck, the pressure relief valve should be opened first to expel any remaining air inside the tank to prevent injury accidents. Regularly check if the sprinkler truck's pressure gauge is functioning properly, as a malfunctioning gauge could lead to excessive pressure in the tank. Frequently inspect the valves, starting to vent at 0.196 MPa and ensuring the tank pressure does not exceed 0.196 MPa. Regularly verify the operation of the sprinkler truck's RPM gauge to prevent damage to the air compressor and power take-off unit. Also, regularly clean the RPM gauge probe (located at the air compressor flywheel). Frequently listen to the sounds of the sprinkler truck's power take-off unit and air compressor. If any unusual noises are heard, the machine should be stopped to eliminate the fault.

Before purchasing a sprinkler truck, users should understand what specific functions and uses they primarily need. Generally, in enterprises, institutions, and areas with fewer fire teams nearby, it's advisable to equip the sprinkler truck with emergency fire suppression capabilities based on their specific needs. This way, the truck can be used for operational requirements on a daily basis, and in the event of a fire, it can provide emergency fire suppression, helping to extinguish the fire in its early stages within a short time, while also minimizing the threat to people's lives and property.

(1) Park the water sprinkler as close to the work area as possible. (2) Open the side door of the platform box, take out the suction hose, and ensure it is swung back without any bends. (3) Insert the suction hose as deep as possible into the water, keeping the tip below 300mm from the liquid surface during operation. (4) Push the four-way valve handle perpendicular to the ground. (5) Shift the transmission to neutral, start the engine, disengage the clutch, pull the power take-off switch back to engage and start the pump. (6) The operator can use the observation mirror on the top of the rear cover. When the liquid level reaches the middle of the mirror, notify the driver. Also, quickly pull the suction hose away from the water surface or close the four-way valve. (7) After retracting the hose, place it back in the platform box and close the side door. (8) Drive the water sprinkler away from the water extraction site. Spraying operation (1) Pull the handle of the four-way valve parallel to the ground, open the desired ball valve (front冲洗, rear洒, side喷, spray), then start the engine, shift the transmission into gear, pull the power take-off switch back to engage and start the pump, and then disengage the clutch to begin watering. (2) Once the water in the tank is used up, promptly push the power take-off lever forward to disengage and stop the pump.
