The material verification, performance inspection, and testing of seamless steel pipes should include the following: (1) During the inspection of seamless steel pipes, the following situations require verification checks: ① If the certificate does not match the furnace number or steel grade of the delivered seamless steel pipes; ② If there is no steel grade or furnace number marking on the pipe or label; ③ If the chemical composition or mechanical properties on the certificate are incomplete, tests should be supplemented for the missing items. (2) Regulations for the verification check of seamless steel pipes: ① All seamless steel pipes should be measured individually for outer diameter, wall thickness, and length, and their dimensions should comply with relevant standards; ② All seamless steel pipes should be individually numbered and checked for hardness; ③ From each batch of seamless steel pipes, one pipe with high hardness and one with low hardness should be selected, with each pipe prepared with 5 specimens, including two for tensile tests, two for impact tests, and one for flattening or cold bending test. The testing methods and evaluation criteria should follow national regulations. ④ Chemical analysis should be conducted on samples taken from seamless steel pipes or specimens used for mechanical property tests. If there is no non-destructive testing (NDT) qualification certificate from the manufacturer, each pipe should be individually checked for NDT; if, despite the manufacturer's NDT qualification certificate, defects are found during visual inspection, 10% should be randomly inspected. If any are found to be不合格, then each pipe should be checked individually.
