The quality of processed decorative stone products can be judged from the following four aspects:
One observation is to visually investigate the surface layout of the stone. Generally speaking, stones with a symmetrical layout of fine materials have a delicate texture and are considered excellent stones; The appearance of stones with coarse and uneven grain layouts is poor. In addition, due to the influence of geological use, small cracks often occur in the stone, and the stone is very prone to fragmentation along these areas, so attention should be paid to removing them. As for the lack of edges and corners, it also affects aesthetics, so special attention should be paid when selecting.
The second quantity refers to the size specifications of the stone material, which avoids affecting the splicing or causing deformation of the patterns, patterns, and lines after splicing, and affecting the decoration results.
Listen three times, that is, listen to the knocking sound of the stone. Generally speaking, high-quality stone has a loud and pleasant knocking sound; Contrarily, if there are light and fine cracks inside the stone or if the contact between particles becomes loose due to weathering, the knocking sound will be rough and hoarse.
Four trials, which use simple experimental techniques to test the quality of stone. Usually, a small droplet of ink is dropped on the opposite side of the stone. If the ink quickly disperses and leaches everywhere, it indicates that the particles inside the stone are loose or have cracks, indicating poor quality of the stone; On the contrary, if the ink dots remain in place, it indicates that the stone texture is good.
A few suggestions:
1. The stone has a certificate of sprayability, please request it from the agent when purchasing. Do not purchase without a certificate, and be aware that A-class products should be used for home decoration.
2. When choosing between marble and granite, it is important to start considering marble. In normal environments, granite has a greater tendency to spray than marble.
3. In ordinary environments, the thinking of stone should be black, gray white, flesh red, green, and blood red. From the perspective of sprayability, from high to low, the order is: blood red>green>flesh red>gray white>white>black, basically in this order.
