Product Details

Polyester long-fiber geotextile is a new type of building material used in geotechnical and civil engineering. It is manufactured by webbing and consolidation of polyester long fibers, with the fibers arranged in a three-dimensional structure.

Polyester Long Fiber Geotextile Product Features:

This product boasts excellent mechanical properties, including resistance to stretching, tearing, puncture, and penetration. It also features good longitudinal and transverse drainage capabilities, excellent elongation, and high resistance to biological, acidic, alkaline, and aging effects. Polyester geotextile also offers a wide range of pore sizes, a tortuous void distribution, good permeability, and filtration properties.

Polyester Filament Geotextile Product Performance:

1. Provides isolation function

Can isolate soil layers composed of different components and properties for extended periods and prevent them from mixing.

Freezing tolerance and required load-bearing specifications for construction.

2. Features excellent anti-filtering and corrosion-resistant properties

Moisture can penetrate in all directions without building up pressure. It also helps prevent soil erosion, contributing to stability and anti-corrosion properties.

3. Features reliable drainage performance

Due to its fluffy structure, it can effectively control the drainage properties of the surface in geotechnical engineering.

4. Excellent protective performance

Due to its excellent puncture resistance, elongation, and bulkiness, it effectively protects the waterproofing layer from potential mechanical damage.

5. Reinforcement capability

The improved bulkiness and high strength enhance the overall stability and increase the strength of the engineering.

Polyester Long Fiber Geotextile Applications and Uses:

1. Suitable for isolation between different materials: Used between unpaved/already-paved road bases and airport runway bases, between geotextiles and sandy drainage layers, between subgrade and embankment soil, to bear additional loads; used between additional loads, between subgrade soil and foundation piles, under sidewalks, parking lots, sports fields, and between new and old asphalt layers.

2. Suitable for reinforced soft subgrade: Used on soft subgrade areas without paved roads, such as airport roads, railways, landfills, and sports fields. It prevents the subgrade soil from piercing the geotextile membrane and also guards against impurities or stone layers in landfills from piercing the geotextile membrane.

3. Suitable for anti-seepage: Below leachate-generating landfills, it protects geotextiles and prevents soil particles from infiltrating; also, it safeguards geosynthetic composites against soil particle intrusion.

4. Suitable for Drainage: Used for drainage under geomembranes, under sports fields, and beneath railway ballast.

Long Fiber Geotextile: The long fiber geotextile is a polyester long fiber needle-punched non-woven geotextile, free of chemical additives and thermal treatment, making it an environmentally friendly building material. (100g/㎡-800g/㎡.) Polyester long fiber geotextile is also known as long fiber non-woven geotextile/polyester non-woven geotextile/long fiber spunbond needle-punched geotextile/long fiber permeable geotextile/and can also be called permeable geotextile based on usage. When compounded with polyethylene for waterproofing, it is referred to as waterproof geotextile. The technical specifications of waterproof geotextile generally only calculate the fabric's strength, with the film's strength being disregarded! Waterproof geotextile (composite geotextile membrane) follows the national standard GB/T17642-1998. Technical parameters.

Woven Geotextile, also known as Woven Long Fiber Geotextile or simply Woven Geotextile, can be categorized into Polypropylene Woven Fabric/Polyester Woven Fabric/and other fiber woven fabrics, depending on the type of fiber used. The production process of woven fabrics is similar to cotton spinning, but it has higher requirements for seams during construction—the national standard stipulates that the seam strength must not be less than 50% of the fabric strength. The thread used for seams should have the same corrosion and aging resistance as polyester or polypropylene fibers; it is not allowed to substitute with cotton spinning common fibers. This is crucial for the construction quality.~~

The new national standard GB/T 17639-2008 has been established. Please note the distinction when applying it to new projects under construction or design.

Hatching Eclosion Geotextile, National Standard GB/T 17639-1998 for Geosynthetic Materials - Filament Nonwoven Geotextile, New Standard GB/T 17639-2008.
Features:

It can replace traditional engineering materials and construction methods, ensuring safer operations and contributing to environmental protection. It offers a more economic, effective, and durable solution to the fundamental issues in construction projects.

Long-fiber geotextile has excellent mechanical properties, good permeability, and resistance to corrosion and aging. It offers functions such as isolation, anti-filtering, drainage, protection, stabilization, and reinforcement. It can adapt to uneven subgrades and withstand external construction forces, with minimal creep and maintains its original functions under long-term loads.

Long Filament Geotextile Characteristics:

Strength - The tensile strength in all directions is higher than that of other needle-punched non-woven fabrics under the same gram weight specification.

UV-resistant light exposure - High UV resistance.

High-temperature resistance—resists temperatures up to 230°C, maintaining structural integrity and original physical properties under high temperatures.

Permeability and planar drainage – The geotextile is thicker and needle-punched, offering excellent planar drainage and vertical permeability, which can be maintained for years.

Excellent蠕变Resistance—Our geotextiles exhibit superior resistance to creep compared to other geotextiles, ensuring long-lasting performance. They can withstand the侵蚀 from common chemicals found in soil and resist corrosion from gasoline, diesel, and more.

Elongation — Geotextile has excellent elongation under certain stress, allowing it to accommodate uneven, irregular base surfaces.
