Principle of Water Pressure Regulating Device
The system补水定压装置 is designed to set the water supply pressure according to user requirements. If the pipeline water supply pressure exceeds the set pressure, the pump unit is in a shutdown state, and tap water can be directly supplied to users through the connecting pipeline. When the municipal pipeline water supply pressure falls below the set pressure, the equipment automatically enters the relay pressure increase working state. The unit, through a closed-loop control system consisting of pressure sensors, pumps, and a constant pressure variable frequency control cabinet, continuously adjusts the pump speed and the number of pumps in operation in response to changes in water usage to maintain a constant water supply pressure.
The补水定压装置流量调节er is a sealed container, acting as a buffer between the water supply network and variable-frequency water supply equipment when the water supply network can meet the supply requirements. It mitigates the pulsating impact of the pump set on the network. In cases where the water supply network's water supply is insufficient, it serves as a flow regulation device to alleviate the insufficient flow during peak water demand periods.
The system's pressure maintenance device, the pipeline protector, is installed on the flow regulator. When the pressure inside the tank is higher than the external pressure, the pipeline protector shuts off, and the pump set boosts the existing municipal pipeline pressure for constant-pressure water supply. When the tank's pressure equals the external pressure, the pipeline protector opens to connect with the outside, preventing vacuum formation and ensuring stable water supply to the municipal pipeline and other users. In case of water shutdown in the supply network, the equipment automatically stops running, and it restarts automatically upon the restoration of water supply. During power outages, the pump set ceases operation, allowing tap water to enter the user's pipeline directly through the connecting pipe. The set automatically restarts and resumes normal water supply upon power restoration.

Operation Instructions for Water Pressure Regulating Device
When the municipal pipeline network is at high pressure, the equipment is in a shutdown state, and the municipal water source is directly supplied to the user's pipeline network through a water tank and bypass piping.
(2) When the municipal pipeline pressure is insufficient, the equipment automatically activates, boosting pressure by variable frequency speed regulation on top of the existing water pressure (constant pressure supply). By following the principle of "compensate as much as the deficiency," the system meets the user's constant pressure water supply needs across the entire flow range while achieving high energy-saving operation. During operation, the sealed ocean law tank is merely equivalent to a section of pipeline, with fresh, clean tap water continuously flowing through the water source tank (or pressurized water pool), thus avoiding external contamination.
(3) When the municipal water source pressure is too low, and the incoming tap water is less than the equipment's water supply (water outlet from the water source tank), the storage volume of the water source tank compensates for the deficiency of the municipal water source. The large compensation water volume provided by the water source tank is equal to its total volume, V_comp = V_total.
During the compensatory water supply period of the water source tank, vacuum (automatic inlet and exhaust valve) is utilized to allow air to automatically enter the tank, thereby avoiding negative suction effects on the municipal pipeline network (i.e., zero negative pressure and zero suction head), and ensuring the full effective utilization of the tank's volume.
(4) To further reduce the impact of direct suction on municipal water sources, you can opt for a water source isolation valve and control instrument. This allows for the arbitrary setting of a low pressure at which suction is permitted. When the municipal water source inlet pressure drops to the permitted low pressure, the water source isolation device will automatically activate, and the equipment will switch to automatic water supply using the compensation tank as the water source. Alternatively, consider purchasing a low-cost throttle device instead of the isolation valve to limit the flow rate of tap water, with the insufficient supply portion compensated by the water source tank.
(5) In the event of water supply interruption from the municipal source and the water storage tank is also depleted, the equipment will automatically shut down (prohibition of operation). The equipment will resume operation automatically once the water supply is restored to normal.
