Insulating flanges are a general term for pipe flange joints that meet both the sealing requirements of buried steel pipelines and the electrical insulation requirements of electrochemical corrosion protection projects. They include a pair of steel flanges, an insulating seal between the flanges, flange fasteners, insulating components for the fasteners, and a pair of steel short pipes that are separately welded to each flange. Insulating flanges, along with insulating joints, are products produced for the oil, chemical, and other industries. The insulating flange products have formed a series, and can be designed and manufactured separately according to customer requirements in special cases.
