Nozzles are named based on the spray shape, such as fan-shaped, conical, liquid column (i.e., jet), air atomized, and flat nozzles, with conical nozzles further divided into hollow and solid cone types; the naming of Venturi nozzles (i.e., mixing agitator nozzles), strong cold (hot) air jet nozzles, and specialized nozzles (such as garden nozzles, pot washing nozzles, pipe cleaning nozzles, etc.) reflects their operational performance.
